New study to monitor public opinion in an effort to inform and evaluate measures being put into place in response to COVID-19.

Vox Pop Labs today launched the first wave of its rolling study on public reactions to the COVID-19 pandemic. As steward of the largest online respondent panel in Canada, Vox Pop Labs is uniquely positioned to reflect the opinions of Canadians throughout the course of the crisis.

The findings generated from the study will assist in the identification of reactions to the COVID-19 crisis at more granular levels of analysis than conventional polls normally permit. Moreover, a new wave of the study will be fielded every 72 hours in an effort to identify trends across time.

“This study is an effort to make a contribution to collective well-being during these precarious times,” said Dr. Clifton van der Linden, Vox Pop Labs founder and CEO. “Decisions about how to respond to COVID-19 should be made with as much current information at hand as possible.”

Vox Pop Labs will be releasing results of the study on its website at regular intervals.
